I've always loved a beautiful face. I worked at the library when I was 12, and as a home-schooled kid I didn't get much exposure to the world, but at the library I could read anything I wanted and it was...glorious. I pored over vintage Vogue magazines, art history books, anything I could find about Egypt and Nefertiti, all the celebrity memoirs (JUICY!), Regency romance novels (What is a rake anyway?), National Geographic, and my favorite... Man Ray. This variety of influences partially shaped the weirdo that I am today. My love of faces and figures is anchored deeply in a fascination with beauty of all kinds.
